Paul Verhoven meets White Zombie in this hard
rocking fusion of Total Recall with Devil Music Vol. I! Man,
what a connection these two have. While the bad guys are checking
to see what floor the elevator is on the light flashes 6,6,6.
A reference to Devil Music? And one of the songs on the CD
is called "Welcome to Planet Motherfucker". That
pretty well describes Mars in "Total Recall", wouldn't you
say?
But it goes a lot further than that. When Quaid removes the
"bug" by pulling that huge capsule out through his nose, on
the CD it says "Only part of the core has been removed, Only
part of the core has been removed..." Later on Mars when he
takes off his mask and throws it to the guard, there's a countdown
on the CD - X minus 5 seconds, 4, 3, 2, 1, and right on 0
the sound of an explosion on the CD coincides with the on-screen
explosion. You'll see some pretty incredible stuff - the whole
movie is like that. Watch the preview and you'll see what
I mean!
